The tax year summary
Cash basis, with a redacted version for your accountant.
A per-payer summary of money actually received during the year. An invoice sent in December and paid in January belongs to the later year, because that is when the cash arrived.
Retainers are excluded: they secure an engagement rather than paying for work.

The same figures with payer names replaced by sequential labels. Your accountant needs the totals, not a list of who retained you — in litigation work client identity is not incidental.
